Our Recovery Sessions
Even your favorite workouts or activities can leave your body feeling stiff, achy, and sore. Our recovery sessions are a great tool for those looking for some immediate pain relief or those who need accountability help with stretching, soft-tissue work, and corrective exercise guidance. This is one of our most popular options for current and former patients.
What Does It Include?
Each treatment session is individualized to focus on your immediate and presenting pain or concerns. Your therapist will offer suggestions and recommendations, but you get to direct the session to maximize your comfort. Booking recurring monthly recovery sessions is a popular client option for staying on track with recovery after an injury.

Using popular tools such as Hypervolt percussive therapy as well as hands-on massage, manual therapies are a favorite aspect of our recovery sessions. The pressure and style of therapy will be adjusted to suit your preferences.
-
One of the most popular treatment methods today, dry needling re-initiates a healing process for painful or scarred tissues and helps reset your pain response. This treatment is not currently covered by insurance but is included and offered in your recovery sessions.
-
A well-known practice for increasing blood supply and reducing tension in a tissue or muscle, your therapist might recommend cupping. The careful suction acts similarly to deep tissue massage. The increased blood flow promotes healing around the area and can help release tension from muscle knots or adhesions in the body.

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle hands-on treatment that may provide relief for a variety of symptoms, including headaches, neck pain, and medication side effects.
This therapy may help those suffering from chronic pain, post-concussive symptoms, fibromyalgia, migraines, stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and other pain syndromes.

Often times after an injury or a surgical procedure, scar tissue forms, and the soft tissues of the body contract. This can cause stiff joints and tight muscles that make normal activities such as climbing stairs or reaching overhead difficult and even painful.
To ensure scar tissue formation does not get in the way of your rehabilitation, we’ll incorporate dedicated and specific stretching exercises. This will be a vital part of helping you maintain a good range of motion and flexibility. Your therapist may ‘assist’ your stretch by guiding you into the proper position and appropriate tension.

Our clinicians frequently incorporate load management and exercise selection guidance education with your treatment sessions. This is a critical component in helping you maintain symptom relief after your treatment.
By incorporating education into our sessions, we hope to empower you to use pain relief techniques on your own and understand when you should seek out additional support.
Our Modalities
From hands-on massage and manual therapy to the latest in physical therapy care innovations, your treatment sessions will include your preferred therapies to help you feel better.
